This is a large bar on two floors. It has a very good range of alcohol (beer, wine, spirits and cocktails, etc.). It also has a wide range of food, ranging from tapas , pizzas, pub classics and grills. Roasts,small plates, breakfasts and sweet treats are also served- all at very reasonable prices. This place also hosts cabaret nights which are said to be very popular. I visited twice early evening in mid-week and found the four bar staff who served me welcoming, friendly and efficient. I ordered a large glass of house red wine which cost a very reasonable £6.50. I was also provided with a glass of tap water. This is a welcoming, inclusive and safe space. Recommended.
Had a great brunch here today. Drinks were never empty, food was amazing! Exceptional service from Ben, Luke, Cameron, Tia and Sarah. Sol the singer was incredible! Highly recommend for a bottomless brunch in town!
Went for food this afternoon,really nice staff. Food was amazing, highly recommended, portions are fantastic and I couldn't ask for better service. Update,went for Christmas taster,amazing food,the beef was to die for and who can't resist dessert,all very tasty,can see this getting booked up supper fast, highly recommended for Christmas 2024.
First visit here. Great selection of beers and although we only had a light snack it was very fresh and tasty. Beautiful building,warm vibes and friendly staff. Also spotlessly clean.
My sons took me out for Sunday lunch for Father's Day. My eldest recommended The Yard to me as he had heard the food there was really excellent. Our server Damon was really attentive and friendly, and also Adelaide who served behind the bar recommended a nice IPA to me. We all had the Sunday lunch roasts and they were all decent sized portions. I had the rib eye beef and it was cooked to perfection, and the selection of roast potatoes and vegetables complimented it perfectly. The red cabbage was divine. My sons said similar about theirs too, they had the pork and chicken. There are also vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The chocolate torte was lovely and intense and rounded off the meal perfectly. I highly recommended this.
Good food, great portions good price! Excellent environment very clean and friendly very welcoming to any background! Very allergy aware in all the eating places never had any place check as much; Adelaide and Damon very courteous and helpful! worth the visit. It s a great dinning place for meeting friends. Sunday roast is brillant, also I like they serve the vegetables separately. It s a generous porttion too.
Firstly, I must admit I haven't visited this venue since it moved locations, Not being local, but I can assure you it was worth the wait. The new location is absolutely stunning—spacious, with two floors, a dancefloor, a rooftop terrace, and outdoor seating perfect for a sunny summer day like today. The atmosphere is both safe and inclusive, attracting a great mix of customers. What truly sets this venue apart, however, are the staff. Adelaide was incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed. Sarah, who was behind the bar, had a lovely friendly personality and a great sense of humour (and I'm glad neither of us are fans of champagne—she'll know what I mean). The food was simply amazing. We ordered the Vegetarian Pie Sunday dinner and extras which were cooked to perfection and had that proper home-cooked feel. It was refreshing not to be offered the usual veggie Wellington that most pubs serve for veggie Sunday dinners. Each dish was expertly prepared and offered great value for money. The chefs were Chris & Georgia. We had such a wonderful experience that we're already planning to return next week even though we are not local. If you're local or visiting Coventry, please support this venue. It's places like this that we need to keep open.
Incredible venue, with gorgeous food, drinks and service! Fantastic shows! I've tried both he regular menu (lots of options) and the Sunday roast and hand down one of the best value and delicious roasts I've had. THE CAULIFLOWER CHEESE IS RIDICULOUS!
